Please join us on Monday, December 5th, for a very special Art Showcase titled Celebrating Neurodiversity. This event will feature artwork of neurodiverse students in the Houston Area including past winners of the HBIDA Annual Art Contest 2020 – 2022.

Anson Koshy is a past president of HBIDA and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital. He is also an adjunct Associate Professor with the McGovern Center for humanities and ethics. 

Dr. Koshy is a board-certified Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician who actively engages in humanities and ethics teaching through the Center. He is also an artist, and his vibrant works have been featured in local venues, exhibited via McGovern Medical School’s Art Wall, and adorn the halls of the McGovern Center.

Dr. Koshy participated in the Harvard Macy Institute’s Art Museum-based Health Professions Fellowship from 2021 to 2022. He also received the John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Distinguished Faculty Award in Professionalism Education in 2022.
